"Of course he did," Holmes says, though he is a little pleased with himself, even through his distraction as he tries to determine what Watson's fascination with the bullet is all about. Something more concerning than this potentially bizarre out of body experience? His own faked death had been pretty odd, he must remember; he'd felt a little identity-less initially.

"Did he notice he was not speaking with Dr. Watson? That's the more interesting question."
