"I can see why you decided not to pursue a medical practice. You'd chase all your clients away," he manages, though his mind swirls uncomfortably when he stands up. The pain jolts through him again, but he's better prepared for it this time. He does try not to lean on Watson, but he winds up relying on Watson's strength more than he'd like. He really feels quite ill, now that he's aware of it, and dimly he worries that he might not recover from this. That is a possibility, isn't it?

He dismisses that almost immediately. Watson won't let that happen.
