Holmes can't think of anything to say that wouldn't be an anxious plea for Watson to tell him that he's alright, so he accepts being ordered about. He fetches Watson bag, and then quickly crosses to the windows, closing the curtains. He makes quick work of acquiring the water and the cloths, though he feels like it takes far too long. He produces the materials for Watson and then hovers, standing before him with his hands hanging at his sides.

"What now, Watson? What shall I do? I'll buy you a new coat tomorrow," he blurts, and then promptly presses his lips together.
